In Belgium and the Netherlands is cycling a part of the culture. I love that. It’s so relaxing to ride here. Only the mountains are sometimes missing.
I also just like these liberal countries. It’s funny: I believe that their liberalism could provide rather the seed of a new egalitarian society as a much more backward one. I mean that in the sense of Marx. Zizek has interpreted him like that:The formal freedom is a precondition for the real freedom. Yes, these countries have very open economies etc. and tax Paradise (sometimes). But they also carry the change provided in themseles as long the capitalist profit won’t work doway. And that will not last any longer.
